Roswell Dance Starz Competition Team
The Competitive Team is an optional addition to Dance Starz Company members by audition only. In addition to group routines, solos/duets/trios are available with discretion from the Competition Team Director.
There is a lot that a dancer can benefit from exposure to conventions and competitions. It’s not all about “winning,” it’s about challenging the dancers technically and artistically.
Our goal is to bring a healthy competitive spirit to our dancers, inspiring them to push their limits to achieve physical and mental breakthroughs that will increase their range as dancers.
We strive to take our dancers’ passion for dance to the next level.Additional Requirements
In addition to the required technique classes, The Roswell Dance Starz Competition Team rehearses weekly to learn group choreography.
The team also travels to regional and national competitions and conventions.

*Dancers will be considered for Competition Team during regular Dance Starz Company auditions. Please note, dancers must be placed in Pre-Teen Company or above to be on Competition Team.
